When I first started a free press on line, I went nuts.  It was great!  I owned a press.  I had nothing left to lose.  I didn't pull any punches.  I was one of the first organic gardening sites on line.
I also never pulled any pages.  The material was vast and dated.  It received few acclaims, but did attract a lot of ditto (doodoo) heads.  The last thing I have is time to argue with the kind of idiots who think it's OK to lie about people, as long as no one can prove you're lying.

This time around, I'm trying to do it a little differently.  I'll try to focus on the ideas and thoughts I manage to have that cannot become dated.  Some truths are universal and eternal (at the risk of sounding Platonic), and now that I've lived in paradise, I think I've gotten more of a handle on them.

Well, we'll see.   This is where I'll be experimenting with ideas and ways for the web to convey them.   Your suggestions are welcome.  One truth I've already learned is that no man is an island, even if he lives on one.  And no island can handle man at this rate for long.  We need more holidays like Halloween, where we're supposed to take our kids out to meet the neighbors.
