Healthy plants resist pests naturally

Plants that are naturally pest resistant are also drought tolerant or drought resistant. They are healthy plants. They get that way by growing in healthy soil.

Healthy soil makes healthy, naturally pest resistant plants

Yup. That's it. The big secret to organic pest control, or natural pest control, is to grow your plants in healthy soil. That means you have to compost. Water less often but for longer periods. Add lots of mulch. Don't use chemicals that kill worms.
